Ingredients
- 3 lbs. Boneless Sirloin Steak, sliced 3/4" thick
- 2 Tbsps. Lemon Juice
- 1/4 Soy Sauce
- 4 pcs. Vienna Sausage, cut into 4 diagonally
- 3 pcs. sweet gherkins or or 6 pcs. sweet pickles, cut into thin long strips
- 2 hard boil eggs, sliced
- 1/4 lb. Cheddar Cheese, Cut into long strips
- 4 slice Bacon
- 2 tbsps. Flour
- 1/4 Cup Oil
- 3 pcs. Bouillon Cubes dissolved in 3 Cups Boiling Water
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Preparation
- Marinate beef in lemon juice and soy sauce
- Add fresh ground pepper
- Set aside for an hour
- Arrange strips of vienna sausage, sweet gherkins,eggs, cheese, carrot and bacon on marinated beef
- Roll neatly and tie with string
- Dredge the rolled beef in flour then brown in hot oil
- Transfer to a big sauce pan
- Add bouillon in water
- Cover and simmmer until beef is tender
- Slice morcon, arrange in a platter
- Pour sauce on top, garnish with fresh parsley
- Serve hot!
